CJ v. Sharktopus

Well, I have some pretty exciting news.  Today at 5:30pm William and I will be doing our wedding pictures!!! I am soooo excited. We live in the desert, so you can pretty much assume that rain will not be an issue, except for today of course. Its rainy and windy.  Which is just crazy.  Literally to my right its blue skies and clear, but to my left its cloudy and rainy.  I am pretty confident though that the rain will be gone before picture time.  It never rains here for too long.  But the only thing that might put a halt on this is the wind.  Hopefully it'll die down.  It really seems like I have worked pretty hard to make this picture thing happen.  I guess if it doesn't work out then we will just reschedule.
This is the husband's last leave week before he deploys.  And that deployment seems to be coming up super fast.  It seems like there are a lot of little things we have to get taken care of.  I am still waiting on school to get back to me.  Which reminds me that I didn't tell you all about my application to Cal State San Bernadino.  They have a nursing school close in Palm Desert.  So I applied.  Now I'm just playing the waiting game some more.  I am considering working until I can start school while the hubby is deployed.  It'll help me to keep busy, and maybe even meet new people around base.  There is a place on base that will help me find a job and help me with school.  So I'm pretty excited! But I'm also kind of sad. I am trying to prepare and get things ready for when he leaves, but it reminds me of how soon that is happening.  I am lucky to have met some pretty good friends out here over the last month.  I know that I will be spending a lot of time with them too.
About my 1001 in 101 list.  It has taken me a while to fill that thing up! but I promise I'm almost finished with it.  and I've already started working on a lot of those goals I have already listed.
